Events Leading to Bankruptcy

The Debtors attribute their bankruptcy filing to several external financial pressures that significantly strained their businesses. The Company states that despite these challenges, its core operations remain sufficiently profitable to meet ordinary course obligations.

The immediate catalyst for the filing was a judgment obtained by one of the Debtors' landlords, which permitted the landlord to lock the Debtors out of their warehouse in East Rutherford, NJ. Facing this imminent threat, which could substantially impair ongoing business, the Debtors determined that a Chapter 11 filing was necessary to save and restructure their businesses.

On the Petition Date, the Debtors filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 with the stated goal of restructuring their debt and reorganizing. Concurrently, the Debtors filed a series of first day motions to ensure a smooth transition into bankruptcy and stabilize operations.
